There are many conditions that affect the price of window tinting price for your auto, home, or office.

Automotive Window Tinting

For automotive window tint, the age of the vehicle comes into play. More labor is needed to clean the vehicle to insure a clean install. The price can be affected by this additional labor. The pricing guide that is shown is not set in stone. The price you pay may be higher based on the complexity of the installation, and the number of windows.

Newer cars require less labor to clean, and usually a much cleaner install is the result. The best time to get a high quality install is when the vehicle is brand new.

The type of car to be also affects the price. Some cars have more windows than others. Some windows are more difficult, and may require additional technical skill to complete. Cars that have more curvature to the glass command a higher price due to the difficult nature of the installation.

Residential Window Tinting

For residential and applications, the condition of the frames surrounding the glass can affect the price. Older construction, particularly in the residential market, has some effect on price. Wooden painted frames usually come with paint on the glass.  This paint has to be removed from the glass in order to provide a high quality installation. The price for this work is accounted for in a residential window tint application.

Commercial Window Tinting

For commercial projects, obstructions to tinting the glass are considered, as well as the need for ladders and scaffolding where applicable. Having to work from ladders will affect the price of the film that needs to be applied. This rule also applies to high residential window tinting work. There are many factors that pertain to the window tinting price.
